CATIPs-Ghana is a Ghanaian based independent policy and research organisation seeking to give industrial policy development support in trade, investment and development economics through cross cutting research in Ghana and the West African sub region.

About CATIPS-Ghana

CATIPs is an independent policy research organization based in Ghana, dedicated to providing support in trade, investment, and development economics through cross-cutting research.

Our mission is to contribute to the economic and industrial policy directions of Ghana and other developing countries in the West African sub-region. We aim to build an internationally credible organization that offers expertise in strategic industrial-level planning through in-depth research projects.

Founder/Chief Executive Officer:

Mr. Francis Kofi Korankye-Sakyi, MBI, MCIArb, holds an impressive array of academic qualifications, including a Ph.D. in Law (in progress) from the University of Ghana Law School, a Master of Laws from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

With his extensive educational background, Mr. Korankye-Sakyi specializes in various areas, including Commercial Law, Trade and Investment Law, Business and Human Rights Law, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Law, and Local Government Law.

He serves as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Cape Coast, Ghana, and is a visiting Law Lecturer at the University of Ghana Law School. Mr. Korankye-Sakyi is also the Founder of CATIPs and brings a wealth of experience from both academia and practical governance.

Research Focus

At CATIPs, we are committed to conducting high-quality policy research in various areas, including trade, investment, and industrial policies.

Our research activities cover topics such as financial and economic inclusion strategies, sustainable development, project management, good governance, industrial communication, and hospitality economics.

By partnering with academics, researchers, development institutions, and governments, we aim to provide informed discourse on policy planning, implementation, assessment, and communication strategies.
